We also have a unique numerical optimization capability that allows us to find the optimal global solution to complicated antenna design problems. We can specify an antenna geometry and generate the desired radiation patterns using phasing by this method, or we can let the optimizer choose the antenna geometry for a given phasing, or it can do both at the same time. This means that instead of designing an antenna, building it, and testing it in an expensive facility, and repeating this process until a design is found that meets minimal specifications, we design and test the antenna in the computer, thus cutting the design time and saving money, while also getting the best possible design specs...something you cannot guarantee with any other method.
