General EOL Guidelines

These guidelines apply to all STAR-H Corporation standard products unless otherwise noted on the product webpage or literature. These guidelines do not apply to research and development (R&D) projects, and the EOL terms for R&D projects are negotiated individually.

General Availability

The standard lead time for non-stocked standard products is 45 days, though some products may be in stock or available under a shorter lead time. For availability or lead times regarding a specific product, please contact STAR-H.

Standard products currently listed in the STAR-H catalog will be available for purchase for at least 5 years. An EOL notice will be issued if a product is planned to be obsolete within 5 years.

STAR-H reserves the right to change published product specifications at any time due to (a) continual improvement of its product families, (b) to correct inadvertent typographical errors, or (c) to reflect improvements in manufacturing process.

Warranty and Repairs

The standard warranty for all STAR-H products is 90 days from the receipt of deliverable items. Extended warranties are available on all products under negotiation with STAR-H at the time of purchase.

Product repair for standard products is available prior to EOL of the product or up to 1 year past the receipt of the delivered product. Repair contracts for discontinuing products are available under negotiation at the time of purchase.

Part Sparing

Spare parts for standard products currently listed in the STAR-H catalog will be available for at least 5 years. An EOL notice will be issued if a product's spare parts will be obsolete within 5 years. After a product's EOL, suitable replacement parts may be available.

Technical Support

Technical support for standard products will be available for standard products for at least 10 years past purchase for available products or for 5 years past the EOL of products entering obsolescence.
