the 2006 NAB Broadcast Engineering Conference on Sunday, April 23 in
Las Vegas, NV. STAR-H and Kintronic will be exhibiting the
KinStar jointly at the Kintronic booth during the exhibit hours

The FCC has issued its public notice approving the use of the
KinStar antenna by Class B, C, and D AM Medium Frequency
broadcasting stations in the United States. Stations can
immediately apply for licensing of the KinStar and do not need to
submit current distribution or field strength proof measurements.

STAR-H is anticipating final FCC approval of the KinStar antenna
for use by class B, C, and D AM broadcasting stations in the US.
Word from the Commission is that a formal announcement is
forthcoming.

STAR-H opens new R&D facility in State College,
Pennsylvania. The new location has nearly 2000 square feet of
office and laboratory space, a machine shop, and vehicle work bay
and warehouse space, with plenty of room to grow. 30 acres of
land provides ample space for testing broadcast and HF antennas
outside. The location is just minutes from US routes 322 and
220 (soon to be Interstate 99) and the Penn State University campus,
and is adjacent to the University Park airport. STAR-H has
also made a major investment in instrumentation and computer
equipment so that it now operates a fully state of the art
electronics design and testing laboratory.

Star-H Corporation presented the results of its full-scale
field testing of the new KinStar™ low-profile MF/AM broadcasting
antenna at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, April 8th during the Radio
Transmission Forum of the Broadcast Engineering Conference at
the NAB 2003 Show, April 5-10, in Las Vegas. Preliminary data
has been published in the NAB RadioTechCheck for February 3, 2003.
STAR-H was also at NAB 2003 at the Kintronic Laboratories, Inc booth in the
Radio hall. |
