PERS™ - Portable Emergency Radio Systems

These containerized portable, self-contained radio communications systems are ideal for setting up temporary radio communications services, reconstituting lost or damaged systems in a disaster situation, or providing emergency on-site communications.  Using rugged, weather-resistant wheeled transport cases, everything needed to establish local or long range radio communications is easily stored and transported. 

A sealed AGM battery system with microprocessor controlled charging system allows up to 48 hours of operation without external power connection.  A solar battery charger, along with a versatile 12/24/120/240 Volt  AC/DC charger/power supply provides a full range of power options for emergency situations.

The system containers hold everything necessary to set up field or emergency communications:

• Battery and power supply
• Radio transceivers
• HF and VHF/UHF Antennas and all necessary cables
• Support mast and ropes
• Emergency lighting

PERS™ systems are available in several configurations, or can be customized to user requirements

1. PERS™ Junior - Provides emergency grab and go amateur radio functionality on HF, VHF, and UHF
2. PERS™ Senior - Provides above plus Public Safety VHF/UHF capability
3. PERS™ Max - Provides above plus government HF capability
4. PERS™ Repeater - Provides self-contained VHF or UHF repeater system with duplexer.
5. PERS™ Portable - Provides containerized racks of portable VHF or UHF radios with charging system and spare batteries.
6. PERS™ Custom - Furnish us with your requirements or specialized hardware and we will incorporate it into a PERS™ unit that meets your specific requirements.
