Lightweight
(under 1.5 oz) broad pattern omnidirectional antenna ensures
effective control link regardless of aircraft attitude.
Low drag acrylic or ABS radome provides excellent UV protection.
1 dBi gain, VSWR under 2.0:1. 0.55 inch tall by 3 inches
diameter, mounts to any flat surface, upright or inverted.
SMA female connector. Covers any contiguous 100 MHz band
from 2-3 GHz , specify desired frequency range when ordering.

Lightweight Communications Antenna
Intended
for providing tactical VHF communications capabilities to small
tactical UAV aircraft, this antenna was developed to meet US
Army requirements for SINCGARS airborne communications relay
systems. Proven 125 km communications range to ground
station with standard OE-254 antenna. Low drag
wingtip-mount wire dipole design with computer optimized
impedance matching network. VSWR under 3.0:1, maximum
power 5 watts, 26 x 23 inches, weight under 2 pounds.
Tested on US Army Shadow TUAV, US Navy/Marine Corps Aerostar and
Pioneer UAV's and ready for integration on other similar
aircraft.
