| UAV Antenna Systems

Star-H has successfully developed and tested extremely
lightweight and reduced-size antennas to
support the 30 - 88 MHz SINCGARS band for the U.S. Military.
Such antennas are needed to allow the use of ever-smaller unmanned
airborne vehicles (UAV's) as communications relay nodes for
battlefield communications. Star-H's unique antenna optimizer
systems allow the design of the optimally efficient antenna within a
given size constraint. This technology is a key enabler of
future reduced-size UAV's in combat and support roles.

Flight testing has demonstrated the ability to establish SINCGARS
communications links with UAV's located up to 125 km from a SINCGARS
ground station. STAR-H is partnering with the US Army Prototype
Integration Facility (PIF) at Redstone Arsenal, and with NOVA
Engineering of Cincinnati, OH to develop SINCGARS relay packages for
several tactical UAV systems.
Antennas are also available for other frequency bands, in sizes
and enclosured customized for specific aircraft requirements.
